Boom Trivia is an Android trivia game published at boomtrivia.site. This policy explains what we collect when you play, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the controls you have. It applies to the Boom Trivia app, our website, and our support channels. If anything here is unclear, write to support@boomtrivia.site and a human will answer.

We collect the minimum needed to run the game and keep leaderboards fair:

• Google Play Games Services ID — used only to sign you in and link your progress to your account. We never receive your password, contacts, or Gmail content.
• Purchase records — receipts and order IDs issued by Google Play when you buy coins, tokens, or Remove Ads, so we can deliver and restore what you paid for.
• Gameplay events — runs, answers, scores, streaks, coin balances, and stage completions, so your progress syncs across devices and leaderboard entries can be verified.
• Device and crash data — device model, OS version, app version, locale, and crash traces, so we can fix bugs on the hardware you actually use.

We do not collect your real name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone audio.

The moment you sign in, our server issues you an opaque encrypted ID (it looks like BT·A1B2…0718). That ID — never your Google identity — is what appears in leaderboards, support tickets, server logs, and our admin tools. Staff reviewing gameplay or handling support never see who you are on Google.

• Signing you in and syncing progress, coins, and purchases across your devices.
• Verifying leaderboard runs and detecting tampering, forged sessions, and exploits.
• Delivering purchases, honoring Remove Ads, and processing restore requests.
• Diagnosing crashes and prioritizing fixes by device and OS version.
• Answering support tickets you open with us.

We do not sell your data, use it for cross-app advertising profiles, or share it with data brokers.

• Google Play & Play Games Services — sign-in, purchases, and achievements are processed by Google under Google's own privacy policy.
• Google AdMob — serves the optional rewarded ("watch-to-win") ads. AdMob may use a resettable advertising ID under its own policy. Buying Remove Ads disables ads entirely, and with them AdMob's SDK calls.
• Analytics and crash reporting — we use aggregated gameplay analytics and crash reporting tied to your encrypted player ID, not your Google identity.

We never give third parties your Google Play Games ID in raw form.

Gameplay history and balances are kept while your account is active. Crash logs are kept for 180 days. Purchase receipts are kept as long as Google Play requires for refund and tax purposes. If your account is inactive for 24 months we anonymize it: the encrypted ID is unlinked from your Google identity and only aggregate statistics remain.

Boom Trivia is rated E10+ (Everyone 10+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sign-in goes through Google Play Games Services, which enforces Google account age rules. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

You can, at any time:

• Access — request a copy of everything linked to your encrypted player ID.
• Delete — request full account deletion from Settings → Account in the app, or by emailing us your encrypted player ID. Deletion completes within 30 days and removes your progress, balances, and leaderboard entries.
• Reset ads identity — via your Android system settings (Privacy → Ads).

Purchases are refunded through Google Play's refund process, not through deletion.

Data in transit uses TLS. Raw Google identifiers are encrypted at rest; day-to-day systems only ever handle the opaque encrypted ID. Access to production data is limited to named staff and every admin action is written to an audit log.

If we change this policy materially, the game will tell you before the change takes effect and this page will show a new effective date. Continued play after the effective date means you accept the update.
