These terms are a contract between you and Boom Trivia ("we", "us"), publisher of the Boom Trivia Android game and the boomtrivia.site website. By installing or playing the game you accept them. If you do not agree, do not play — no hard feelings.
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play Boom Trivia on Android devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. The game, its code, art, sounds, question packs, and the Boom Trivia name remain our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, sell, rent, decompile, or redistribute any part of the game except where the law says we cannot stop you.

Our servers verify every synced session. Runs that fail verification are invalidated automatically.
Coins, tokens, and tools are licensed virtual items, not property. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the game, and are non-refundable except where Google Play's refund policy or your local law requires otherwise. We may rebalance prices, drop rates, and item effects for fairness. Unused balances are forfeited when your account is deleted or terminated for breach.
All purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's payment terms. We never see your card details — only the signed receipt. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy; contact Google first, then us if something was delivered wrong. Purchases made by a minor on your account or device are your responsibility.
Progress is linked to your Google Play Games sign-in via an encrypted player ID. We may invalidate runs, remove leaderboard entries, reset balances gained through exploits, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that break the acceptable-use rules. Repeat or egregious offenders are banned without notice. If you think we got it wrong, appeal to support@boomtrivia.site with your encrypted player ID — appeals are reviewed by a human.
Leaderboard entries require a device integrity check and server-side verification of the run. We may remove or refuse entries that fail verification, without notice. Leaderboard placement confers no rights and no value.
Boom Trivia works offline, but online features (sync, leaderboards, purchases, events) need our servers, which we may maintain, change, or discontinue. We may update, rebalance, add, or remove content — including question packs and game modes — at any time. We will give reasonable notice before permanently shutting down online services.
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the game will be uninterrupted, bug-free, or that your streak will survive a dead battery.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; where they don't, they apply only as far as the law allows.
You may stop playing and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (virtual items, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the courts of Nairobi, Kenya, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to sue at home.
If we change these terms materially, the game will tell you before the change applies and this page will show a new effective date. Continuing to play after that means you accept the update.
