Answers to the most common questions are below — most issues (sync, restores, Remove Ads) fix themselves once you're back online and signed in. Still stuck? Write to support@boomtrivia.site with your encrypted player ID from Settings → Account and a human will reply, usually within one business day.
No. Boom Trivia stores every run on your device first and uploads it the next time you're online and signed in to Google Play Games. Open the game, wait for the sync icon in the top bar to settle, and your history, ranks, and coins will reconcile automatically. If a run still looks missing after a few minutes online, force-close and reopen the app; if that fails, contact support with your encrypted player ID.
Install Boom Trivia, sign in with the same Google account you bought with, and open Settings → Restore purchases. Google Play re-sends your receipts and we re-apply Remove Ads and any coin or token packs that were delivered but unspent. Consumed coins that were already spent are part of your synced balance, so they come back with your normal progress sync — no repurchase needed.
Remove Ads removes all forced and banner advertising. The optional watch-to-win button is a reward you can choose to use, so it stays visible — but you never have to touch it. If you are seeing actual interstitial ads after buying Remove Ads, run Settings → Restore purchases while online; that re-verifies your receipt with Google Play and switches ads off. Still seeing them? Email support with your Google Play order number.
Every synced run is verified server-side: answer timings, event ordering, and a device integrity check. Runs that fail any of these are marked invalid and removed from public leaderboards — usually this means the session data arrived corrupted (rare) or the device failed Play Integrity (common on rooted phones and emulators). Your local progress and coins are unaffected. If you believe a legitimate run was flagged, appeal via support@boomtrivia.site with the run date and your encrypted player ID.
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Or email support@boomtrivia.site with your encrypted player ID (shown on that same screen). Deletion completes within 30 days and permanently removes your progress, balances, purchases record on our side, and leaderboard entries. It cannot be undone, and unused coins and tokens are forfeited. Google Play refunds, if any, must go through Google before you delete.
Yes — Boom Trivia is fully playable offline. Question packs are cached on your device, and every run you play is saved locally and uploaded when you reconnect. Only leaderboards, purchases, Restore purchases, and live events need a connection. Long streaks earned offline count once they sync and pass verification.
Any Android phone or tablet running Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer with Google Play services installed. The game is lightweight — about 90 MB installed — and runs at 60 fps on most devices from 2018 onward. Rooted devices and emulators can play, but they fail the integrity check, so their runs never appear on public leaderboards.
First make sure the Google Play purchase actually completed (check your Play order history — pending payments can take a few minutes). Then open the game while online; verified purchases are delivered on the next sync. If the order shows as charged but the coins never arrive within an hour, email support@boomtrivia.site with the Google Play order number (GPA.xxxx) and your encrypted player ID and we will re-deliver or escalate to Google.
No. We never sell data. The only identifier tied to your gameplay is an opaque encrypted player ID — leaderboards, logs, and support all use it instead of your Google identity. Optional rewarded ads are served by Google AdMob under its own policy, and buying Remove Ads disables the ads SDK entirely. Full details are in our privacy policy.
Email support@boomtrivia.site from any address, and include the encrypted player ID from Settings → Account (it looks like BT·A1B2…0718) so we can find your data without ever needing your Google identity. Median first reply is one business day. For account deletion or data access requests, the same address works — those are answered with priority.
